The existing three-storey over basement Grade II listed office building is being refurbished and ground floor extended to provide 5 new flats. The two and three bedroom units will add to Hounslow’s social housing stock. 
 

Mat’s Group Limited is providing contractor-led design-build (whole-building design), with a focus to deliver efficient energy performance within conservation parameters, and without impacting on existing planning permissions.
 

Following on partial demolition to uncover historic features and remove asbestos, the turnkey refurbishment will address all elements of the building. Historic and existing structural elements will be repaired and preserved by implementing specialist treatments and sensitive designs in the heritage setting.

 

Internal lathe plaster and associated decorative elements will be reinstated alongside existing historic features, and new walls introduced to implement the spatial layout.

 

New bathrooms, kitchens and building services will be carefully integrated in existing and new fabric to provide new homes.
